At FEAST, we believe VR technology is an incredible way to promote travel. That’s why we developed this engaging and extremely effective virtual reality campaign for CAA Travel South Central Ontario.
We went down to The Bahamas to capture extensive 360º coverage of this Caribbean destination, including underwater VR, drone VR and story-telling VR. The result was a series of 10 different VR videos that inspired their target market during the 2018 International Auto Show in Toronto.
We also took advantage of VR video ads with Facebook 360, Facebook Canvas, and YouTube 360. These returned CTRs that were four times better than traditional video and lead to a spike in CAA website visits and social media growth.
The experiential campaign was replicated in CAA Travel stores around Ontario and additional VR content continues to be built!
