CAA Travel Virtual Reality Experience
Feast is a tech-focused, Toronto-based digital advertising agency that created this engaging and extremely effective virtual reality campaign for CAA Travel South Central Ontario. We headed down to The Bahamas to capture extensive 360º coverage of this Caribbean destination, including underwater VR, drone VR and story-telling VR on both the main island as well as the Exumas.
The result was a series of 10 different VR videos that inspired their target market through Facebook 360 Ads, Facebook Canvas Ads, YouTube 360 video and through VR headsets during the 2018 International Auto Show in Toronto.
The media buying portion of our digital agency worked diligently to purchased highly effective VR video ads that returned CTRs that were four times better than traditional video.
CAA experienced a spike in website visits as well as a growth in Facebook pages as a result of the campaign.
The experiential campaign was replicated in CAA Travel stores around Ontario and additional VR content continues to be built as well as a custom virtual reality application for the Samsung GearVR headsets.
